Privacy policy

This policy covers themelasa.com, the catalog of MELASA LED beanies, reflective hats, skull caps and liners, balaclavas, cooling caps, side shields and goggles. Every page opens without an account, a sign-up form or a newsletter box, because there is nothing to buy or sign up for here.

Visit counts

We keep totals of which pages are opened and when. They tell us, for example, whether more people read the LED beanie guide than the liner guide. The totals carry no names, and we do not sell or share them.

If you write to us, your message stays with us while the question is open, and your address is used to reply and for nothing else.

After a shopping button

A shopping button opens our retail partner in a new tab, with a code that shows the visit came from us. From that tab on, their privacy policy applies. Payment, delivery and returns are handled at checkout with our retail partner, not on this site.

Cookies

The store software sets a few cookies of its own: the country and currency you browse in and a session marker that lets pages load. There are no advertising cookies here. Cookies set on our retail partner's site fall under their policy.

Children

We sell LED beanies in kids' sizes, but the site is written for the adults who buy them. We do not knowingly collect anything from children, and there is nothing on the site for a child to fill in.
