Fits and works with
Fits and works with
Cold commutes on foot or by bike, winter hikes, night dog walks and outdoor work after dark. It makes you easier to spot after dark, most of all with reflective bands on your wrists or ankles. It does not stand in for a hi-vis vest where your site or road crew requires one, and it is not a hard hat liner.
About this style
Our reflective light beanie with fleece inside and a USB-C port
If our reflective stripe beanie feels thin on a cold commute, this is the warmer one. The outside is a soft, stretchy acrylic knit and the inside is a fleece lining, two layers that keep the wind out on an open road and hold the heat against your head. The reflective strip runs 360 degrees around the hat, and the LED light at the front has three brightness settings.
Battery life runs from 2 to 8 hours depending on the setting you choose, and the light charges over USB-C from a power bank, a car charger or a computer. You can turn the hat so the light faces forward to see by, or backward for the traffic behind you. The stretch knit fits most men, women and teenagers, and you can pick blue or fluorescent yellow.
The reflective beanies shelf holds 3 more styles beside the Fleece-Lined Reflective LED Beanie, and every one belongs to the MELASA selection.
Fleece under the knit
A soft outer knit over a fleece lining. It blocks the wind on a winter hike and keeps the warmth in on a long wait for the bus.
Reflective strip 360 degrees round
The strip circles the whole hat, so headlights can catch it from the side and from behind as well as head on.
Three settings, 2 to 8 hours
Run it bright for a dark trail or low for a lit street, and charge it over USB-C.
Light faces either way
Wear the light forward to see your path, or flip the hat so it faces back toward the cars behind you.

Being seen
A reflective stripe helps a driver pick you out in headlights, and a switched-on light helps more. Traffic safety guidance puts reflective material where it moves, on wrists and ankles, as well as on your head. This beanie is not a high-visibility garment, so where a job calls for a vest, wear the vest.
