Everyday prescription glasses and readers with temple arms under 12 mm wide, worn outdoors in wind and blowing dust, in the garden or on a ride. They are extra side cover for everyday glasses, not safety eyewear. If your workplace requires eye protection, wear our goggles over your glasses or get prescription safety glasses made for the job.
About this style
Clear side shields that slip onto your everyday glasses, in packs from 2 to 60 pairs

Wind on a bike path, dust kicked up in the yard, grit blowing across a parking lot: everyday glasses leave the gap between lens and temple wide open. These clear shields slide onto the temple arm and close that gap. They are soft TPU, flexible enough to go on with no tools or parts, and they come off the same way when you want your glasses back to normal.
Check one number before you order. The temple arm of your glasses has to be less than 12 mm wide where the shield sits. Each pair is marked R and L, so you put each shield on the side it was shaped for. You can buy them by the pack, from 2 pairs up to 60 pairs, enough for a household of glasses wearers or a shop that hands them out. They add side cover to the glasses you already wear, and they do not turn those glasses into safety eyewear.
If the Slip-On Side Shields for Glasses is close but not quite it, the side shields and goggles shelf has 1 more style from the MELASA selection.
For temple arms under 12 mm
Measure the arm of your glasses where it leaves the frame. Under 12 mm wide, these will slip on.
No tools
Push the shield onto the temple arm by hand and pull it off the same way. There are no parts to lose.
R and L marks
Every pair is marked for the right and the left side, so the curve sits against your face the right way.
Soft TPU
The flexible material bends to the arm and sits soft against your skin.
What side shields are for
Slip-on shields add cover at the sides of everyday glasses. Under OSHA's eye protection rule, clip-on or slide-on shields count only on safety glasses that meet the rule, and people who wear prescription lenses need eyewear that builds in the prescription or protection that fits over the glasses. Where your job requires eye protection, wear that.
