Dog walks, early runs, camping, fishing, grilling after dark and jobs under a car or a sink where you need both hands. The knit stretches to fit most adult heads. It is not a hard hat liner: the light carries metal and electronics, so take it off before a work helmet goes on and use a liner made for that helmet.
About this style
Four bulbs, up to 120 lumens, and the same warm knit in 42 colors

It is dark by the time you clip on the leash, and both of your hands are already taken by the leash and the bags. The light in the brim of this knit cap has four bulbs and three brightness settings, gives up to 120 lumens, and points wherever you look. Left on without a break, it runs up to 4 hours. Switched on and off the way a walk or a repair under the sink really goes, a single charge lasts 6 to 8 hours of use.
The light unit plugs into a standard USB port, so your car, your laptop or a power bank will charge it. Pull it out of the brim before the hat goes in the wash, by hand or in the machine, and slide it back once the knit is dry. The cap is a soft acrylic blend, and we make it in 42 colors, from plain black and navy to tie dye and herringbone, so everyone in the house can tell their hat apart at the door.

Three brightness settings
Go low for a padlock or a map held close, and high for the trail ahead. The four bulbs give up to 120 lumens.
Charges from a standard USB port
Plug the light into a car port, a computer or a power bank. You never buy batteries for it, and you unplug it once it is full.
Light out, hat in the wash
The light unit pulls out of the brim, so you can wash the knit by hand or in the machine with no electronics inside.
42 colors, one light
Solid colors, two-tone knits, tie dye and herringbone all carry the same light and the same stretch, so you can pick by the coat you wear.
Before you head out
Charge the light with the cable it came with and unplug it once it is full. A light that swells, smells or gets hot is done: stop using it and recycle it rather than putting it in the trash. Take the light out of the cuff before the hat goes in the wash. This beanie is not a hard hat liner, so wear it on its own, never under a helmet.
