Pick the hat first, because the light comes with all of them

Every adult MELASA LED beanie starts from the same idea: a light in the folded cuff that shines where you turn your head and charges from a USB port. What you are really choosing is the hat around it. The plain knit comes in 42 colors for everyday walks. Fleece lining is there for hard cold, the ear flap style reaches further down, two styles run a reflective stripe all the way around, and one comes boxed with a fleece neck warmer.

On the plain knit the light has four bulbs and gives up to 120 lumens, running about 4 hours left on and 6 to 8 hours when you switch it on and off as the job needs. On the Reflective Stripe LED Beanie you can turn the cuff so the light faces backward, toward whoever is coming up behind you. Whichever one you pick stays a hat for dog walks, runs and the yard, and none of them belongs under a work helmet.

These 6 styles are part of the MELASA selection, $8.99 to $22.99 in our last catalog update.

Questions

LED beanies: what people ask

Can you turn the light on a MELASA LED beanie to face backward?

On the Reflective Stripe LED Beanie, yes. You can wear it with the light facing forward to see your way, or turn the cuff so it faces back toward traffic coming up behind you. The other styles carry the light at the front.

Which MELASA LED beanie comes with fleece lining?

Four of them: the Fleece-Lined LED Beanie, the ear flap style, the Fleece-Lined Reflective LED Beanie and the beanie and neck warmer set. The plain LED Beanie with Light and the Reflective Stripe LED Beanie are knit without fleece.

How many colors does the MELASA LED beanie come in?

The plain LED Beanie with Light comes in 42 colors, plain, two-tone, tie dye and herringbone among them. The Fleece-Lined LED Beanie comes in 14, and the other adult styles in two to five each.
